What is a CPU ?
CPU stands for central processing unit. It is essentially the brains of your computer, without this vital part there is no possible way your device can run.
What does it do ?
the CPU has a circuit which allows electrical signals to direct instructions to other hardware components through buses. There are three types of buses, control, address and data. The control bus sends and receives signals that control the CPU and other parts of the computer system. The address bus carries the address of memory locations used to store data and program instructions. Finally the data bus, this transfers the binary data around the computer.
